Assortment Merchant Specialist

Base Pay

This role has a minimum base pay from $17.00 per hour with higher starting pay available based on experience.

Purpose:

The Assortment Merchant Specialist is a key member of the store team that collaborates to conduct product line reviews, competitive shops and ensure the overall standards/assortment of the store are upheld in accordance to company guidelines.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

(1) year of customer service/retail experienceHigh school diploma and/or GED(1) year of computer experience in a work environment

Job Functions:

Engage customers and provide a quality shopping experience when applicableAssist in merchandising resets across the store departmentsStrategically merchandize and utilize the company guidelines to outline merchandising practices. Ensure store presentation standards are achieved and maintained.Attend Product Line ReviewsAssist in conducting weekly competitive shops.Communicate pricing and/or inventory issues to the senior team. Analyze and work all business reports in order to be in the best merchandising, in-stock and pricing position.Ensure brand standards and operating standards meet or exceed expectations to support brand consistency.Interface with Store Support AssociatesMonitor, maintain and follow company policies; support company expectations and systems.Available to open and/or close the store in an effective manner.

Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. Physical/Sensory Requirements

Ability to lift 25 pounds or more on a consistent basis.Ability to sit, squat or stand for long periods of time. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Saturday 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Sunday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
