What Requirements Should I Have?

The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree (preferred) along with one year retail hardware or home improvement / hardware experience is required. As a member of the Merchandising team, you will be expected to perform a broad range of simultaneous duties and deliver effective communication both verbally and written. You will also be experienced in Microsoft Excel, and the Google suit of products.  We will help you achieve your career goals by offering challenging duties and annual performance reviews.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Electronically develops planograms using Space Planning software and data provided by the Assortment Optimization software. Creates and maintains Orgill.com and Dealer Markets planograms. Assist Custom Assortment Team when needed in development of planograms for Orgill Dealers. Orders product to complete planograms where dimensions and images are missing. Collects data and images from vendors. Utilizes Photoshop software to crop and correct images as necessary. Communicates and coordinates with other departments and vendors. Performs other duties as assigned

Competence to be analytical, organized, and flexible while working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment. Knowledge to combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions to include finding a relationship among seemingly unrelated events. Ability to communicate information and ideas both verbally and written so others will understand.

Minimum Job Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree preferred Minimum of one year retail hardware or home improvement / hardware experience is required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google email products.
