Assortment Planning Intern

Job Summary

Our 11-week summer internship program will be in person in Atlanta and run from May 19 – August 1, 2025.

As an Assortment Planning Intern, you will work cross functionally in our Inventory Planning & Replenishment team that is responsible forthe overall assortment and inventory productivity within NAPA’s Distribution Centers and Company Owned Stores. Interns will do meaningful work through specific a project(s) and/or initiative(s) in their respective departments and make a final presentation at the conclusion of their internship. Interns will enjoy robust networking and personal development opportunities through formalized interactions with senior leadership, training workshops, and city-wide intern events. Interns will have fun and give back through opportunities to meet fellow college-aged students, social outings, service projects, and more!

Responsibilities

Assist with inventory productivity analytics and modeling to help understand correct product mix

Workdirectly with leadership to create streamlined, repeatable processes for Business Reviews and Assortment recommendations including documentation and collection of all data points needed to assort/de-assort SKUs

Collaborate across teams to refine/build tools needed to make proper assortment decisions and analyze results

Qualifications

Currently a rising junior or senior enrolled in an undergraduate program, seeking degree in business, data analytics, or related degree.  

Ability to think critically to identify a problem, research the possible causes, and fix or route to the proper resource to fix it.

Excellent organizational skills, ability to juggle projects, and an analytical mind.

Preferred Qualifications

3.25 GPA or above preferred.

Expertise with large data sets, analytical modeling, and data visualization tools preferred

Physical Demands / Working Environment

Expected to operate in a professional office environment. 

The 2025 program will run from May 19 – August 1, 2025

The work week is 40-hours

Working hours are M-F 8:00AM – 5:00PM with a 1-hour lunch break.
