These functions are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, and requirements of the job. Other functions may be assigned as business conditions change.
1. Manage maintenance and safety programs, record maintenance of equipment.
2. Manage energy management and inventory control programs.
3. Inspects the equipment and operation of central plant and penthouses.
4. Periodically to see that safety regulations are met and efficient operations are maintained.
5. Regularly starts, stops and demonstrates the ability to adjust and regulate the equipment.
6. Consistently monitors equipment while in operation and follows up with person who is responsible to see that proper operation is maintained.
7. Always observes local and state regulations pertaining to boiler shutdowns, removal of side panels and inspection of interiors for scale deposits..
8. Immediately report all equipment malfunctions to Director of Plant Operations.
9. Types policies and procedures in timely manner.
10. Revises policies as directed by manager & committee members.
11. Ensures that all the policy/procedures are current.
12. Observation reveals adherence to dress code, maintains professional attitude.
13. Maintains staffing levels consistent with variable budgeted hours.
14. Manages on call schedule and inspects daily logs regularly.
