Asst Front Office Mgr

POSITION PURPOSE:

The Asst. Front Office Manager is responsible for managing and supervising the daily duty shifts and providing support to senior management in the department's front and back office operations. The Asst. Front Office Manager is responsible for ensuring the consistent delivery and quality of guest service and immediately addressing and resolving guest challenges and feedback. The Asst. Front Office Manager must maintain consistent lobby and front desk presence while ensuring all staff are performing in accordance with our company standards.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

Direct the activities of key guest contact departments by giving guidance, leadership and instruction to department heads. Overall budget approval authority for rooms division departments. 

Monitors all rooms related systems that directly impact the guest, to ensure proper procedures are in place and followed which allow for an outstanding guest experience. 

Communicates with guests and team members both verbally and in writing to answer questions and resolve issues. 

Facilitates the coordination of marketing initiatives, sales site visits and special housekeeping requests, reservations, etc.

Responsible for the hiring, training, developing, promoting, measuring performance, disciplining and scheduling of assigned departments’ staff.

Monitor and control labor within the department.

Maintain positive working relationship with other departments.

Assist with escalated guest and/or employee issues.

Maintains the cleanliness and supply levels of Front Desk

Verifying accuracy of employee clock-ins/outs in Unifocus and tracking attendance

Other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATION STANDARDS: 


EDUCATION 

High school graduate or equivalent required.  Four year college degree preferred. 


EXPERIENCE 

Minimum of 3-5 years Front Office, Guest Services and/or Housekeeping management experience for major Resort Company in a similar size operation.
