Job Details As an essential part our RN team at South Bay Cardiovascular, the Assistant Nurse Manager is responsible for the daily patient care activities, personnel management and facilitating a stable and organized work environment through leadership, direction and delegation to provide and maintain quality nursing care. Responsibilities include the following: Promoting staff growth and development Participating in the evaluation process and counseling procedures Performing Nursing Competencies Determining and effectuating management decisions Evaluating performance and the direction of staff Making RN schedules Maintaining Checklists Assignment of RN duties Policy and Protocol Review Ensure adherence to TJC guidelines UBC Meetings MAGNET activities Perform RN staff duties To qualify, you must have a BSN, current NYS RN License, BLS/ACLS certified and 2-3 years of cardiology experience. Superior oral/written communication, decision-making, motivational, analytical and team building skills will be expected. Management experience preferred. Salary Range USD $59.04 - USD $85.92 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
