Summary

We are currently looking for an Asst. Patient Care MGR for our Moffitt South Shore Ambulatory Center:

The Assistant Patient Care Manager is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of nursing operations,
ensuring quality care for patients and their families. Mentors, serves as a resource, and provides support
for staff and faculty on clinical nursing issues while meeting the department, nursing, and organization
goals. Oversees clinical care performed by assigned nursing staff.

Minimum Education
Education Level 
Bachelor's Degree Nursing f

Associate's degree with BSN in
process, to be completed within
University program guidelines,
not to exceed four (4) years from
date of hire

Preferred Education
Education: Masters Degree Nursing

Minimum Required: Registered Nurse, RN, BLS, current FL nursing license, 

Minimum Experience Required
Minimum three (3) years nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting

Minimum Skills/Specialized Training Required
Strong computer skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Advanced nursing skills; IV therapy,
intervention with emergencies, teaching skills. Demonstrated competency in in-patient and out-patient
best practices including patient care, technology, and processes

Preferred Experience
Demonstrated leadership experience preferred. Oncology experience preferred.
