Assurance – Senior Audit Associate

Tasks & Responsibilities

- Identify key risks in Siemens’s operational and financial environment and develop an understanding of business processes, goals, and strategy to provide analysis and interpretation to management

- Design and lead comprehensive audits following the agile audit methodology to address identified risks

- Independently drive assurance objectives, define and align conclusions and recommended improvements to drive change in the organization.

- Foster innovation and further development of processes and methodology as well as develop and promote digital use cases that increase coverage and overall assurance in cooperation with our data analytics team

- Lead meetings with Senior Management and drive discussions about conclusions and next steps from the engagement

- Lead by example in challenging environments, be a career coach and mentor your fellow team members by sharing your expertise

Education, Skills and Expertise

- Minimum of 6 years experience at a large accounting or consulting firm ideally with reputable, publicly listed companies as clients
- BS/ BA or higher degree in Business, Economics, Accounting or Finance. Master / MBA degree as well as CPA, ACCA or ACA qualification is highly preferred
- Fluent English is required with the ability to speak, write, read, and interpret documents. Knowing additional languages is a plus.
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Flexibility to travel ~30% including internationally as well as to live/embrace our hybrid work culture

The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
