Day Shfit: Monday - Friday
The Asset Storage Tracking Coordinate daily activities of furniture warehouse facility, including storage and distribution. Assists Warehouse Manager/Supervisor in daily tasks and/or current projects. Identifies and resolves inventory discrepancies. Perform physical verification of inventory. Maintain, manage, and update inventory.
Responsibilities:
Ensures rapid, accurate movement and processing of product and/or paperworkTracks inventory with inventory management systems and produces inventory reports when necessaryEnsures effective work methods, procedures, and controls to achieve accurate and safe completion of assigned tasks, paperwork, and spreadsheetsEvaluates and implements current methods as necessary to ensure accurate completion of assigned work by set timelinesMaintains warehouse in a safe and organized manner, while applying all safe work method procedures. Escalate any safety concerns as they ariseSupports Furniture Installation Team’s requirements, schedules, and requestsTakes direction/instruction from the supervisor for loading, transporting, unloading, staging, auditing, and movement of furnitureServes on committees and task forces as necessary, and leads with other projects, functions and tasks as assigned by leadershipLeads training on safety, process, new technology, and warehouse equipmentResponsible for ensuring projects and daily operational tasks stay on track with established deadlinesDocuments and maintains performance data to identify production gaining opportunities within the daily operationsSelf-directed and requires little or no direct supervision.Assists lead with the daily communication of issues and assist with problem solving/resolution
Qualifications:
Education/Experience
High School diploma or general education degree (GED); 3+ years previous experience in a warehouse environment. Must have at least 2 years of Reach Truck forklift experience.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Knowledge of basic warehouse functions and processesFully proficient with all inventory management systems (Snaptracker, Ensync)Familiar with operating non-power (pallet jacks, carts, hand trucks) and powered equipment (order pickers, forklifts), and tools used in warehouse operationsFamiliar with quality standards and inspection techniquesStrong organizational and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detailAbility to clearly communicate verbally and in writingMust be self-motivated and able to work under pressure in deadline driven situationsKnowledge of multiple office furniture systems desired, including assembly, terminology and functionalityKnowledge of or ability to learn asset management softwareFamiliar with MS Office programsAbility to use judgment to make decisionsMust be able to work a flexible schedule that may include overtime and/or working a different shift to meet the needs of the customerDedication and commitment to promote diversity, multiculturalism and inclusion in all work activities.Collaborate in diverse teams to foster productive outcomesPhysical Requirements

Generally, works in a warehouse environment with moderate noise, changing temperatures, and around mechanical equipment and moving objects. May be required to work different shifts and work hours; may work alone or with a team; in moderate heat or cold, around dirt/dust.
