ASU I&E Technician – Responsible for maintenance and installation of all field instruments, process control computers and electrical maintenance at all Matheson facilities.

Position Accountabilities:

- Operates and controls equipment used in an air separation plant.

- Must maintain Qualified Electrical Worker certification

- Maintains quality control and quality assurance equipment, including process analyzers and gas chromatographs

- Install, maintain, adjust and repair manual, pneumatic, electric and electronic measuring, recording, and regulating instrumentation.

- Maintains calibration standards, including inspection, testing and measuring equipment as well as calibration gas cylinders - Perform routine and non-routine analytical calibrations and adjustments.

- Works with management team to schedule calibration and preventive maintenance programs to achieve plant and company strategic quality goals.

- Assists in the development and administration of comprehensive spare parts program.

- Assists in the training and development of others when needed.

- Performs maintenance on compressors, pumps, turbines, valves, motors, and other plant equipment, when required.

- Reads and interprets technical drawings and manuals.

Required Skills: - Ability to research, select and negotiate purchases for suitable plant equipment

- Ability to reads and interpret technical drawings and manuals

- Statistical and analytical skills.

- Clean driving record.
