Description:Registered Nurse for a fast-paced and well-organized ASU/OPC department which covers pre/post-surgical patients, endoscopy, infusion clinic, pain clinic, UVB treatments and more. This position is Monday - Friday and does include weeknight and weekend call plus rotating holidays.

Position Purpose: 
 Ambulatory Surgery Department is a unit open Monday through Friday caring for patients with same day procedures, endoscopy, infusions, pain clinic, and more.  Nurses complete a variety of tasks on the unit depending on their assignment for the day.   


What you will Do: 
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care of patients.
Supervises and coordinates care provided by LPNs and PCAs.
Facilitates communication with physicians, families and other team members.
  
Hours/Schedule:  
.8 FTE, day shift.

Flexibility with hours during the week is very important, and ASU is closed on weekends & holidays but is covered on-call by staff.
 
Minimum Qualifications:  
Current IA RN license
BSN preferred
No previous experience required
