**Job Title: ATC Technician**
**Job Description**
Performs routine, preventive and unscheduled maintenance, inspection, adjustments, testing, cleaning, lubrication and proper maintenance on assigned Signaling and Telecommunication system equipment in accordance with wiring diagrams, schematics, operations and maintenance manuals. Observes system components and devices in operation to detect potential failures and locate causes of malfunction. Perform troubleshooting, identification and resolution of system and subsystem to support field technicians in the diagnosis and correction of faults. Produce accurate maintenance records of track, third rail and related infrastructure, equipment performance, work accomplished, and other information using a computerized maintenance management system. Analyzes log files to troubleshoot complex issues and provide required corrective action and improvement. Drive work vehicles when responding to emergencies and when required on duty. Support the on-site spare parts management and the repair cycle from/to the site. Support the preparation of system performance maintenance technical report. Produce work blocks and Job hazard analysis pertained to planned work. Conduct job and safety briefing as required. Perform duties as instructed/directed by Department Manager and the System Engineer. The role requires to work in close proximity to the third rail frequently, request Red Tag, LOTOs and hot stick application. Ensure the execution and collection of all the maintenance records and support the monitoring of the day-to-day maintenance performance. Ensure conformance to technical specifications and compliance with operational specifications and tolerances (e.g. verifying dimensions and clearances of parts, etc.). Ensure that sufficient materials, tools, and equipment are on hand calibrated and in good condition for maintenance activities. Identify failure trends early that may impact fleet availability. Ensure logs and dump files download from on-site equipment and provide first level of analysis. Perform related duties as required. Ensure that the corrective and preventative maintenance tasks are executed in compliance with the company safety policy and local regulations. Comply with all maintenance procedures and instructions including; safety, quality, and environmental procedures. Execute health check procedures before the vehicles are put into service. Execute and collect all the maintenance records and support the monitoring of the day-to-day maintenance performance. Ensure the effective implementation of first-line response maintenance safety standards. The role requires flexibility and efficiency, including shift rotation, weekends, and holidays work typical of major infrastructure projects and operating transit systems. Perform additional cross-functional job duties on unrelated track and third rail systems including but not limited to electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic controlled systems in accordance with training.

**Essential Skills**
+ Knowledge of ATC Systems and equipment
+ Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
+ 1-3 years’ experience in electronic equipment maintenance
+ Ability to use common and specialized tools and test equipment
+ Knowledge or ability to attain knowledge of safety rules regarding lock-out protection and traffic protection
+ Ability to use and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, operations manuals, and maintenance instructions
+ Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with Diesel, Troubleshooting, Mechanical, and Repair
+ Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems

**Work Environment**
This role requires working in close proximity to the third rail and frequent shift rotations. Shifts include: 1st shift: 3am – 11:30pm, 2nd shift: 11pm-7:30pm, 3rd shift: 7pm-3:30am. The technician can be on a shift rotation for any day of the week, including weekends and holidays.

This is a Permanent position based out of Pearl City, Hawaii.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $57283.00 - $57283.00/yr.
