Job Summary:

The ATE (Automated Test Equipment) Engineering Intern will assist ATE Engineers to generate drawings, procurement supports, test software code review, and document review.

As an intern at Crane Aerospace & Electronics, you will develop knowledge about the business through exposure to a functional area (such as manufacturing, engineering, and lean principles). You will focus on developing the skills necessary for success by assisting employees with day-to-day job assignments. You may be assigned to additional training or project work. The Company's internship program is intended to provide students from diverse backgrounds with the opportunity to practice business skills learned in school while gaining work experience.

Essential Functions:

Work in a team environment to assist Test Engineers. Contribute to Peer Reviews in checking assembly drawings, fabrication drawings and schematic. Adhere to formal processes and standards. Support part searching, quoting, and procuring. Support engineering dry run on test procedure. Support test software code review. Support drawing update, generate, and review. Take on special technical assignments as required.

Minimum Requirements:

Taken courses in Electronic or other related Science/Engineering field (Electrical and Aerospace). A strong aptitude for analytical, problem solving, planning and organizational skills. Familiar with engineering drawings (SolidWorks) and schematics (Eagle or Altium). Must have knowledge in electronic circuits, typical of: Microcontroller/microprocessor Analog and digital discrete circuitry Programmable logic device Power supply circuitry Statistical and probabilistic techniques Good technical writing and verbal communication skills. Ability to fulfill a one quarter or semester internship commitment, 40 hours per week Eligibility Requirement: This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such access only US Persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Salary range: $24.00 to 27.50. Several factors contribute to actual salary, including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities, skills, training, and other qualifications.
