Our department is looking for a highly organized, driven and detail-oriented individual to fill the position of Athletic Eligibility Coordinator/Academic Advisor. This position will report directly to the Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance with a secondary reporting relationship to the Associate Athletic Director for Administration. This position will oversee the athletic academic eligibility certification process as well as serve as an academic advisor to a portion of the student-athlete population; Monitor, track, and forecast APR, GSR, and Federal Graduate Rates throughout the academic year and over rolling six-year periods; Complete progress toward degree audits; Assist with NCAA and EADA reporting.

Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Previous experience in higher education academic advising, student services and/or an athletics compliance office. A demonstrated knowledge of NCAA Division I rules and compliance issues concerning the administration of intercollegiate athletics. Skilled in the application of Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Moodle/Canvass. Very strong interpersonal, organizational, administrative, verbal, and written communications skills. Ability to work with internal staff and staff across campus, including Admissions, Advising Offices, Financial Aid, Student Accounts, Registrar, Bookstore and Student Affairs. Perform all job duties in accordance with NCAA, Conference and University rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and guidelines. Must possess a valid driver’s license and a driving record acceptable to the University’s insurance carrier.
