Athletic Trainer
**9366BR** **Position Title:** Athletic Trainer **Organization:** Intercollegiate Athletics **Job Responsibilities:** + Implement rehabilitation and treatment programs for intercollegiate athletes and document appropriately. + Perform administrative duties, write and implement policies & procedures, manage student employees, and maintain sports medicine facilities. + Facilitate athlete referrals for care through physicians, surgeons, therapists, and specialists including proper insurance notification and directional assistance. + Provide injury risk management for athletes, preparing them for practice and competition via athletic stretching and supportive taping, bandaging and bracing as appropriate to individual student, sport and situation. + Facilitate the athletics drug and alcohol testing program through athlete notification, oral fluid sample collection, documentation, and sample shipment for analysis. + Collect, compile, and facilitate athlete physical participation status forms, including orthopedic assessment to evaluate for risk management. + Identify, assess, evaluate, mitigate, and manage student athlete injury prevention and care including on and off campus/site venues. + Monitor and mitigate environmental conditions for health and safety purposes. **FLSA Category:** Non-exempt **Requisition Number:** 9366BR **College/Division:** Student Affairs **Required Application Documents:** Cover Letter, Curriculum Vitae or Resume, List of References **Employment Category:** Parttime **Additional Details:** In compliance with NYS's Pay Transparency Act, the salary range for this position is listed above. Reporting to the Head Athletic Trainer, the Athletic Trainer supports the medical needs for all 22 intercollegiate NCAA Division III sports and 2 Division I sports (men’s and women’s ice hockey). This person will be responsible for prevention, evaluation, treatment, management, and rehabilitation of injuries and illnesses associated with athletes involved in intercollegiate athletics. The incumbent will adhere to NCAA bylaws and policies, possess and maintain NATABOC certification, possess or be eligible for New York state licensure, travel, work weekends and odd hours, supervise student employees, and function under team physician oversight. **Hourly/Salary Minimum:** 41 **Hourly/Salary Maximum:** 41
