technology and clinical partnerships in a convenient safe and comfortable patient environmentOverviewWersquore seeking an Athletic Trainer ATC to provide athletic training services in clinical and high school settings in accordance with NATA guidelines and practicesThis position will primarily support High School and community coverage needs in the Northwest Region of CTEssential functions of this position include application of principles methods and procedures of evaluation and treatment of athletic injuries preconditioning conditioning and reconditioning of the athlete through the use of appropriate preventive and supportive devices temporary splinting and bracing physical modalities of heat cold massage water electrical stimulation Ultrasound exercise and exercise equipment upon the referral or under the general direction of licensed physician Athletic training includes instruction to coaches athlete parents medical personnel and communities in the area of care and prevention well as strong interpersonal skills Must be self motivated and able to work independently as well as function strongly within a team environment Must be able to function successfully with physicians and other members of Allied Health Care team Must be comfortable in a matrix organization with multiple reporting responsibilities Must display strong customer service skills and aptitude Must be able
