Major Responsibilities:
Clinical Support/Health Outcomes: Provide support in delivery of quality clinical care.Handles patient flow, including the preparing of rooms and patients and other duties assigned as identified by Advocate Medical Group physician office standards protocol.During the visit measures and records accurately: blood pressure, pulse, temperature, height, weight, records reason for visit as appropriateDemonstrates the ability to perform the following functions regarding athletic injuries: prevention, assessment, treatment, and reconditioning as set forth by the NATA Board of certificationProvides patient education and discharge instructions including the demonstration of a prescribed home exercise program.Performs various tests/procedures independently as prescribed by the physician in accordance with certification and scope of care.Demonstrates proper taping, strapping, bracing, and fitting of athletic equipment.Management of concussion patients utilizing ImPACT testing. Under the provisions of the Illinois Athletic Trainer's Practice Act, they shall maintain an ethical and professional medical environment consistent with the standards of care established by the National Athletic Trainers Association and the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation and Advocate Medical Group.Performs other duties as assigned.PATIENT SATISFACTION AND SERVICE: Provides efficient high-quality service to patients who arrive for appointments, who telephone, visit in person, or at school.

Education/Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree in related field.
