**Building Location:** Building F - Duluth Clinic - 3rd Street **Department:** 11570 Orthopedic Surgery **Job Description:** Provides Athletic Training services to patients ranging from adolescent to geriatric in a surgical orthopedics clinical environment, including evaluation and assessment, education, treatment and consultation services and related patient care services under the supervision of the orthopedic surgeon. **Education Qualifications:** **Required Education:** + Athletic training program graduate **Preferred Experience:** + Prior surgical practice experience **Licensure/Certification Qualifications:** **Required Certificates and Licensures:** + Athletic training program graduate with successful completion of NATA (National Athletic Trainer Association) certification examination. + Registered by Board of Medical Practice per state guidelines* + Certification in CPR + NATA board certification (BOC) and the appropriate state licenses * _New graduates of Athletic Training program may begin orientation, but they may not perform athletic trainer duties until state licensure is active.
