Athletics Coordinator

OVERVIEW: 

The Athletics Coordinator is responsible for the supervision of members and guests, safe use of the facilities by maintaining equipment in good working order, maintaining cleanliness, and preparing activity areas for events and programs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Facilitating all sports and athletic programs Coordinate leagues and events Maintain cleanliness of the facility Maintain accurate equipment inventory Provide information on Athletic programs to members Supervise gymnasium, fitness room, and sports field activities Enforce all rules that pertain to the fitness and exercise areas Attend staff meetings Assist with overseeing the athletics department budget Other related duties as required

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or equivalent (required) CA driver’s license (required) Experience working in a sports setting (preferred) Experience with Microsoft programs (preferred)

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Ability to communicate effectively Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to lead Team player

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
