The Atlassian Administrator is responsible for the implementation, administration, maintenance, architecture and standardization of Wendy’s Atlassian current and future software suite. This role is a trusted advisor, advocate, and architect of the Wendy’s Enterprise Atlassian environment and will be responsible for current and continued growth of Atlassian tools and Marketplace add-ons across the entire Wendy’s organization. This role will also have an active role in the development and execution of the project administration and time tracking processes for the Wendy’s IT Organization - working with IT Finance to ensure compliance with internal controls and project management processes.  

Responsibilities Configure and maintain Atlassian projects, workflows, permissions, and schemes.Provide user support and training for all Atlassian tools and Marketplace add-ons.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions.Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure platform stability.Develop and maintain documentation for administrative processes, especially time tracking. Work with product owners and steering committees to implement global changes to the Atlassian suite.Assess the downstream effects of changes on business goals.Understand the business problems behind requests and offer alternative solutions.Participate in strategic planning to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Atlassian tools.

Create and manage informative dashboards for Atlassian products.

Use Atlassian Analytics to generate insights and reports for data-driven decision-making What we expect from you Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant work experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.

Certification:

Atlassian Certified Professional (Demonstrates expertise in Atlassian products)

Atlassian Cloud Organization Admin Certification (Skilled in configuring and managing Atlassian Cloud sites and products)

ACP-420 Managing Jira Service Projects for Cloud Certification (Proficient in configuring and administering Jira service projects)

ACP-120 Jira Administration for Cloud Certification (Expert in configuring and managing Jira Cloud)

Technical Skills:

Proficient in Jira administration, including project setup, workflows, permission schemes, and custom fields.

Strong understanding of Atlassian products (Jira, Guard/Access, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.) and their integration.

Experience with Jira Cloud environments.

Experience with Jira Service Management

Familiar with scripting and automation tools (e.g., Groovy, PowerShell).

Experienced in creating and managing dashboards for data visualization, such as Atlassian Analytics.

Experience:

At least 3 years of experience in Jira/Atlassian administration.

Proven track record in managing large-scale Jira environments.

Successful implementation and maintenance of Jira Service Management projects.

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Customer-focused with a commitment to high-quality support.

Able to identify the downstream effects of changes on business goals.

Capable of understanding the business problems behind requests and offering alternative solutions.

Critical thinker who can evaluate requests and provide reasoned responses.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

Experience with REST APIs and software tool integrations.

Experience with Tempo Time-Tracking Marketplace Add-onDemonstrated ability to manage complex systems, deal with internal customers, demonstrate leadership and work across departments.

The base pay range for this position is listed below. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and budget for the open position and also may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other relevant factors.  This range does not include an estimated value for any benefits, bonus, or other incentives that may be applicable based on position. *  The target annual bonus for this role is 7.5% of annualized base salary, based on actual company and personal performance.
