Atomic Spectroscopy Account Manager - Los Angeles Territory

Agilent is seeking an enthusiastic, results driven, Atomic Spectroscopy Account Manager in the Los Angeles, California area. In this position, the ideal candidate will accelerate sales of atomic analytical instrumentation including Atomic Absorption (AA), Microwave Plasma (MP-AES), Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP-OES), Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometers (ICP-MS), Supplies and Service products to all application markets in Los Angeles and the surrounding areas. These and other duties will be performed in an assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage, drive and grow Agilent’s Atomic Spectroscopy Business in assigned territory

Responsible for developing customers and maintaining their satisfaction

Maintain positive ongoing long-term relationships with key customers

Creates monitors and revises lead generation plans

Develop and provide technical solution oriented sales and support for both your internal and external customers

Develop technical competency throughout the entire Atomic Spectroscopy portfolio and the ability to present technical presentations and seminars to potential customers

Account Management – Territory planning; provide reports on business and market activities; and lead all territory account & contact date for assigned territory

These and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Biological or Physical Sciences or equivalent experience

1+ years relevant experience

Selling Experience: Five years with strong analytical instrumentation knowledge and experience preferred

AA, ICP-OES, ICP-MS operational experience desirable

Familiarity with major customers in the territory and major applications for these techniques desirable

Strong computer skills and oral presentation skills are essential

Must be able to work collaboratively with service, marketing, & management

Strong project management experience and skills, able to meet deadlines while handling several different tasks and projects simultaneously

Available for flexible work schedule and up to 50% business travel

Additional Details

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely. Applications for this job will be accepted until at least February 17, 2025 or until the job is no longer posted. It is sales incentive eligible. In the US, this position is eligible for choice of company car or reimbursement for personal vehicle usage.

The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $117,968.00 - $196,613.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
