The ATS Network Expansion Program Manager, L4 is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of Amazon's Transportation Services (ATS) network expansion initiatives. This senior-level role involves managing the strategic deployment of new ATS nodes, optimizing the connections between them, and ensuring seamless integration with the existing transportation infrastructure. The Program Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive the successful implementation of the ATS network expansion and maximize the operational and financial benefits to the organization.
Key job responsibilities
Develop and maintain a comprehensive ATS network expansion strategy, aligning with Amazon's overall transportation and logistics objectives;
Lead the identification, evaluation, and selection of potential ATS node locations, taking into account factors such as demand patterns, infrastructure capabilities, and operational feasibility;
Oversee the planning and coordination of ATS node construction, including the management of design, engineering, and construction activities;
Manage the integration of new ATS nodes with Amazon's existing transportation network, ensuring seamless connectivity, data integration, and operational synchronization;
Collaborate with ATS operations, technology, and data analytics teams to define and implement optimal node-to-node connections, routing algorithms, and transportation modes;
Monitor and analyze the performance of the ATS network expansion, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and implementing data-driven optimization strategies;
Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure the ATS network expansion initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with business requirements;
Effectively communicate project status, risks, and issues to executive stakeholders, and proactively develop mitigation strategies;
Analyze transportation data, trends and forecasts to develop short and mid capacity plans that align with the company's business objectives;
Ensure collaboration with cross-functional teams, including transportation middle mile, transportation last mile, TOM, Sorting Centers to understand capacity requirements and develop integrated logistics solutions;
Facilitate cross-functional meetings and workshops to align on transportation and sort centers strategies, identify synergies, and resolve operational issues;
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders, such as DS, FCs and SCs to enhance coordination and visibility.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree;
- Proficient in transportation management systems, productive dynamics and data analysis tools;
- Knowledge of transportation modes, warehouse and operational models, carrier capabilities, and industry best practices;
- Project management and change management experience;
- Ability to pull large dataset and convert it into insights that can drive efficiency;
- Fluent Portuguese and advanced English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of Excel.
