ATTAIN Lab Coordinator - LIEOC
Location: Farmingdale, NY Category: Professional Posted On: Fri Jan 17 2025 Job Description: ATTAIN (Advanced Technology Training and Information Networking) is a statewide technology initiative funded by New York State to provide urban and rural communities access to training and technology. ATTAIN provides access to academic, occupational, life skills and workplace readiness training. The ATTAIN Lab Coordinator will provide on-site and remote coordination and facilitation of activities contained in the ATTAIN Lab. Job duties include: + Proficient delivery of ATTAIN services and self-paced resources, Microsoft Certification Training, and additional online third-party resources. + Conduct ATTAIN enrollment process and maintain participant records using ATTAIN's LMS and third-party software. + Determine participant Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) eligibility. + Facilitate remote and in person orientation and training sessions. + Proctor certification exams through ATTAIN Certiport Authorized Testing Centers. + Conduct remote and in person social media outreach and promotional activities. + Provide participant self-paced learning assistance and navigational/technical support. + Support and track participant self-paced learning outcomes. + Submit monthly status reports and maintain regular communications with UCAWD supervision and site liaison. This position requires some evening and weekend hours (as applicable) and some local travel as directed by supervisor. Job Requirements: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: + Bachelor's Degree. + Experience with computer software applications. + Ability to troubleshoot IT productivity software, applications, and services. + Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. + Proficient working knowledge or Microsoft Office applications. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: + Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in self-paced, online learning platforms and/or Learning Management Systems. + Bilingual. + Two or more years' experience working with adult populations. + Experience working with underserved/underprepared populations. + Experience managing enrollment accounts and intake processes using an online management system. + Experience working with TANF recipients. + Experience in community outreach. + Microsoft certifications. Additional Information: This is a full-time UUP position. + For the first 10 working days, beginning Friday, January 17, 2025, and ending Thursday, January 30, 2025, applications will be limited to UUP Farmingdale. + CLOSING DATE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATIONS: Open Until Filled + SALARY: $50,000 + $3,400 in downstate location pay = $53,400 Total Compensation.
