Responsibilities

The Warehouse Attendant is responsible for assisting in planning, organizing, and directing the receipt, storage, and distribution of all warehouse goods and items.

 

Essential Duties:

Receives, counts, and stores all material assigned to WarehouseMarks, prices, and stocks all items in proper locationsPulls and delivers requisitions from stock to the departmentsChecks all materials received for possible damage, leakage or theftStocks shelves and rotates stock to maintain integrity of all productsMaintains constant check on temperatures of freezers and chill boxesTakes inventory of material stored in all Warehouses and maintains inventory locations for all Warehouse itemsKeeps all areas of Warehouse clean and free of safety hazardsProperly completes all Warehouse paperworkPromotes positive public/employee relations at all timesMaintains a clean, safe, and hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility Qualifications Must have a minimum of 6 months of warehouse experience and/or a combination of work experience and educationMust be able to operate pallet jacks, forklifts, reach lifts, and other equipment used in warehouse operationsMust be able to follow safety rules and procedures as dictated by the warehouse managerMust  be able to work weekends and holidaysAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and  maintenance instructions and procedure manualsAbility to write routine reports and correspondenceAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals, compute ratio, rate and percentAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization existsAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram and schedule formHigh Level of attention to detailMay occasionally be required to type and operate basic computer software applications

Work Environment:

May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke and excessive noise.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public.
