Attendant - Slots

Compensation: $10.50 per hour

DescriptionEssential Duties And Responsibilitiesinclude the following: Monitors the operation of assigned slot machines and participates in the payment of manual jackpots. Responsible for the replenishment of ticket printer paper & the exchange of currency as requested by customers. Interacts with players to insure a positive gaming experience & to issue complimentary amenities per company guidelines. Adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner, including those pertaining to federal and state regulator laws and guidelines and ensures required gaming licenses are valid and up-to-date. Actively patrol assigned sections for opportunities to surprise & delight guests with the slot entertainment experience by creating a fun, high-energy environment through the celebration of slot wins and building players' perception of luck, attentive, upbeat, and enthusiastic behavior during each and every interaction throughout the shift. To identify and inform guests on the casino floor playing machines without slot cards, the benefits of becoming a club member and creating membership. Clearly communicates functionality of Slot Floor (i.e. ATMs, Ticket Redemption Machines and general ticket in/ticket out processes). Responds to the right customers in the right order for service requests including slot candle lights, radio, and customers while meeting or exceeding department service standards. Resolves minor guest complaints through the use of our service recovery procedures with a sense of urgency and empathy with approved levels of authority. Keeps slot areas clean, secure, and well maintained. Other duties may be assigned at any time. Education And/Or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge in assisting patrons in the use of slot machines.

Language Skills

Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Must be able to obtain an Indiana Gaming Commission License.

Physical Demands

Regularly required to stand and walk. Frequently is required to climb, balance, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Vision includes close & distance vision, color & peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
