About the Role
The Attendee Acquisition Manager uses their customer knowledge, relationship building skills, and creativity to develop the at-show experience for key attendees. This role works with event and marketing leadership to define key segments based on the brand strategy along with purchasing power and buying influence within the industry. They work directly with these target segments, with the goal of creating successful relationships and driving them to attend the event. Understanding new data mining opportunities and building customer databases to drive growth is key. Engaging with prospects and collaborating with internal partner groups is critical. Building and sustaining key relationships before, during and after the show is crucial.

Responsibilities
Developing relationships with VIP attendee customers through visits, phone calls and e-mails throughout the show cycle.
Researching and identifying attendee targets using tools such as LinkedIn and ZoomInfo.
Collaborating with Marketing to develop target lists and execute data mining plans. Supporting the creation of the marketing communications plan for targeted attendees.
Developing metric goals for attendee registration targets. Reporting on weekly registration tracking to ensure attendance goals are met.
Working cross functionally to ideate, plan and execute onsite programming & events, with a focus on elevating the customer experience.
Providing personalized service to key attendee customers, managing all aspects of their onsite experience (registration, lounge access, amenities, special programming).
Attending competitive shows, key industry events, and other RX jewelry shows to strengthen customer relationships while prospecting new business. Identifying key industry associations for possible partnership and event promotion.
Managing and nurturing relationships with external groups such as associations and industry buying groups.
Requirements
Jewelry Industry knowledge/experience preferred
Possess account management or related experience
Demonstrate excellent organization and interpersonal skills
Have highly effective verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrate excellent attention to detail
Possess productivity computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Have the ability to travel as required including RX shows, competitive events, association events and customer visits (30% travel)
