Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Litigation Attorney. The Attorney will be instrumental in representing clients across Minnesota and the Upper Midwest in District, Federal, and Appellate Court cases. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of supporting clients in Employment and Business Litigation. Responsibilities • Representing clients in court cases, arbitrations, mediations, and other legal proceedings. • Conducting in-depth legal research and producing high-quality written work. • Efficiently handling legal disputes within the business litigation practice area. • Preparing and presenting cases in front of judges and juries. • Interviewing witnesses, reviewing documents, and negotiating deals outside of courtrooms. • Advocating at motion hearings and trials. • Attending client and community events for business development opportunities. • Expanding the business litigation practice. • Supporting clients in a timely and detail oriented manner. • Utilizing case management software and document management tools effectively. The compensation offered will be dependent on the candidate’s experience, skills, education, professional background, and overall qualifications. Requirements Preferred Qualifications • Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing as a litigation attorney. • Capability to manage client relationships effectively and professionally. • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills. • Familiarity with the Westlaw legal research platform. • Experience in courtroom advocacy, including Federal and Appellate Courts. • Experience in taking and defending depositions.
