Attorney
Overview

Susquehanna Financial Group, LLLP (SFG) is the institutional broker-dealer member of SIG. SFG combines bulge bracket resources with a boutique culture where research, sales, and trading are integrated to provide differentiated value to the institutional investment process. Due to growing client demand, we are adding an experienced, mid-level litigation attorney to our team. This attorney will assist our senior Litigation Analyst (former trial attorney) by analyzing current litigations and legal issues which are relevant to our institutional trading clients. The analysis will be shared with our clients as part of our initiative to provide deeper market insights. Working closely with our research and research sales teams will provide you with direct, daily involvement in the financial services sector. Additionally, this role plays an important part in allowing us to broaden the scope of our cases under review, directly impacting our growth.

This is an ideal position for an experienced litigator who is looking for a career change from a traditional law firm setting to a dynamic, private Wall Street financial firm. The attorney will be using their legal skills in a \"non-traditional\" legal environment, while gaining exposure to the financial services sector.

What we're looking for

The ideal candidate will be a mid-level associate at a major law firm who has extensive litigation experience in complex, commercial matters. Federal clerkship is preferred. Diversity in practice areas would be ideal (i.e., litigations involving a variety of areas - mass torts, patent, bankruptcy, corporate matters, and securities). Trial experience is preferred.

SIG is not accepting unsolicited resumes from search firms. All resumes submitted by search firms to any employee at SIG via-email, the Internet or directly without a valid written search agreement will be deemed the sole property of SIG, and no fee will be paid in the event the candidate is hired by SIG.
