**Attorney (In -House) - Jersey City 160k-180k** + Operate in partnership with the company’s underwriting team to assist assigned business unit(s) in achieving their annual goals and objectives + Provide legal counsel, compliance advice, and regulatory guidance, as requested on the ordinary and special activities of specified insurance business unit(s), and other client groups + Advise on structuring business relationships, new product development, marketing efforts and other business activities + Provide legal support, due diligence, and advice regarding acquisitions and strategic investments + Support internal projects as needed; provide timely and concise input to senior leadership for quarterly legal reports, team KPIs, strategic initiatives, etc. **REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES** + Must have experience in the insurance industry + Must have experience with product drafting. + Ability to deliver creative and well-reasoned plans to resolve challenges and to execute on such plans **EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE** + J.D. from an accredited law school and a member in good standing + Attorney with at least three years of major law firm experience, and will have some exposure to the insurance business and/or insurance-related legal work and familiarity with insurance compliance and regulatory work. + Experience with small commercial insurance and package policies, Business Owner Policies (BOP), and Delegated Authority / Programs business is a plus. + Hybrid 2 days on-site + Company offers robust benefit package ManpowerGroup is committed to providing equal employment opportunities in a professional, high quality work environment.
