Description We are offering an opportunity for an Attorney/Lawyer to join our team in Hyattsville, Maryland. As an integral part of our team, you will handle a variety of tasks pertaining to personal injury cases. You will meet with clients, conduct legal research, and represent clients in court proceedings. Your ability to draft legal documents and handle client inquiries is essential to this role. Responsibilities: • Engage in client meetings to discuss case details and provide legal counsel • Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case preparation • Attend court hearings and arguments, representing clients effectively • Draft legal documents including pleadings, memos, and briefs • Handle client intake procedures, ensuring all information is accurately recorded • Administer complaint handling processes to resolve client issues • Utilize case management software to organize and manage client information • Employ Adobe Acrobat for document management and review • Utilize skills in civil litigation and personal injury litigation to advocate for clients • Manage claim administration processes to ensure all client claims are handled in a timely manner. Requirements • Must hold a valid license to practice law in Maryland (MD) • Minimum of one year of professional experience as an attorney/lawyer • Proficiency in using Case Management Software • Experience in drafting memos and briefs • Familiarity with Civil Litigation • Experience in Personal Injury Litigation • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Ability to work independently and in a team • High level of professionalism and ethical standards • Willingness to continue learning and improving legal knowledge and skills • Must be able to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to manage multiple cases and tasks concurrently • Commitment to providing high-quality legal advice and representation to clients.
