Description We are seeking an attorney to join a prominent law firm client in the Troy area. In this role, you will be handling a variety of litigation cases, including real estate, commercial, and construction litigation. Responsibilities: • Handle various litigation cases including but not limited to real estate, commercial, and construction • Apply your expertise in civil and commercial litigation to ensure the best outcome for clients • Proactively manage and drive cases to resolution • Prepare and present arguments and statements for litigation cases • Conduct thorough research and analysis on each case • Collaborate with team members to strategize and execute case resolutions • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the laws and regulations within the industry. Requirements • Hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. • Admission to the state bar is required. • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing attorney or lawyer. • Demonstrated experience in civil litigation is mandatory. • Proficiency in commercial litigation is highly desirable. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion. • Excellent client service skills. • High degree of detail orientation and integrity. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
