Description Our client, a dynamic and growing law firm, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney with 0 to 4 years of experience to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a desire to defend clients in liability cases, including those involving products, personal injury, and property damage, and will be adept at managing all stages of litigation. Role: Associate Attorney Location: Florham Park, New Jersey Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in/2 days remote) Salary: $99k - $135k (DOE) Responsibilities: + Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements. + Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on liability-related matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. + Represent clients in pre-trial proceedings, hearings, and negotiations. + Conduct legal research on case law, statutes, and regulations related to liability and insurance law. + Manage case files and collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and litigation plans. + Assist in mediation and settlement negotiations to resolve cases efficiently and favorably for clients. + Stay up to date with current developments in liability law, including new case law and legislative changes. Requirements Requirements: + J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the bar in NJ. + 0 - 4 years of experience in general liability or product liability law. (CAN BE ENTRY LEVEL WITH NO ATTORNEY EXPERIENCE or just recently admitted) + Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills. + Ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop effective solutions. + Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
