Description Key Responsibilities: + Draft and respond to declarations, motions, and discovery requests. + Prepare Preliminary Declarations of Disclosure and other required case documents. + Handle depositions, court filings, and legal research related to family law cases. + Represent clients in mediation, settlement negotiations, and court hearings. + Provide strategic legal counsel on divorce, child custody, and support matters. + Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to maintain case files and deadlines. + Assist in high-conflict custody disputes and complex asset division cases. Requirements Qualifications: + Licensed to practice law in California (Active CA Bar Admission required). + 2+ years of family law experience (prior paralegal experience considered for junior attorneys). + Strong understanding of family law procedures, court rules, and case strategy. + Experience handling motions, depositions, and legal drafting. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills. + Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. + Experience with high-conflict custody disputes is a plus.
