Description We are a well-established Personal Injury Firm in search of an experienced Attorney to become an integral part of our team in Fresno, California. In this role you will be primarily focused on handling pre-litigation personal injury cases. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing pre-litigation case strategy, maximizing case value, and guiding clients through the legal process. Responsibilities: • Support with the progression of the firm’s pre-litigation personal injury department. • Ensure all necessary documents, medical records, and supporting evidence are collected for case preparation. • Directly negotiate settlements with insurance companies aiming to achieve the highest value for clients. • Regularly conduct strategy meetings with case managers to promote efficient case handling. • Assist case managers in enhancing case value by identifying additional damages and reinforcing liability arguments. • Refer cases to litigation when required and work in collaboration with the litigation team for trial preparation. • Maintain constant communication with clients, keeping them updated throughout the claims process. • Utilize case management software to document all case activities, negotiations, and client interactions. • Supervise investigations, monitor medical treatment progress, and heed expert recommendations for case development. • Prepare and review legal documents such as demand letters, settlement releases, and agreements. • Adhere to California Personal Injury laws and best practices. Requirements • Must possess a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Attorney/Lawyer • Proven experience in Prelitigation and Personal Injury Law • Demonstrable knowledge and experience in Personal Injury Litigation and representing Personal Injury Plaintiffs • Proficiency in Negotiating Settlements with Insurance Companies • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective Client Communications • Must be licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction • Ability to manage high caseloads and work within strict deadlines • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team • High level of detail-oriented ethics and integrity • Demonstrable ability to strategize, analyze and solve complex legal issues.
