Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Attorney/Lawyer to join our team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The role will involve handling complex litigation cases, with a focus on asbestos exposure and mesothelioma-related issues. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, interacting with clients across the United States, and gathering critical case information. Responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive case investigations to identify the sources of asbestos exposure • Travel nationally to engage with clients, discuss case details, and gather crucial information • Manage discovery processes, including document review and interrogatories • Execute and defend depositions • Draft and present motions in court • Assist in trial preparation and serve in varying capacities during trials, with opportunities to lead trials as experience grows • Become proficient in asbestos exposure sources, mesothelioma-related terminology, and litigation processes to advocate effectively for clients • Build and maintain meaningful client relationships with professionalism, empathy, and sensitivity. • Collaborate with colleagues to represent injured clients effectively • Handle mass tort, product liability litigation, or asbestos-related cases • Maintain strong dedication to plaintiff-side litigation and advocacy • Utilize case management software and document management tools effectively. Requirements • Must have a valid license to practice law • At least 3 years of experience in the legal field • Proficiency in using 3M, Adobe Acrobat, and Case Management Software • Familiarity with Conveyancer and Document Management systems • Demonstrated ability in Briefing and Civil Litigation • Experience in Claim Administration and Complaint Handling • Knowledge in the Consumer Electronics sector • Previous involvement in Asbestos Litigation, Toxic Torts, and Mass Tort cases • Strong communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines • High level of integrity and detail-oriented accountability • Willingness to continue learning and improving legal knowledge and skills.
