Description We are seeking an Attorney/Lawyer with a focus on Family Law to join our team. This role involves a variety of tasks related to civil litigation and family law, from client consultation to courtroom representation. Responsibilities: • Representing clients in family law cases, including divorce, child custody, and domestic abuse cases. • Conducting extensive legal research to support client cases. • Drafting legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and agreements. • Engaging in civil litigation, including the preparation and presentation of cases in court. • Advising clients on their legal rights and responsibilities. • Participating in settlement negotiations to resolve cases favorably for clients. • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of laws and regulations related to family law. • Upholding high standards of detail-oriented conduct and ethics. • Collaborating with other team members to ensure a consistent and effective approach to client cases. • Managing and prioritizing multiple cases simultaneously. Requirements • Hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school • Must be an active member in good standing with the State Bar • Should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal department • Demonstrated experience in Civil Litigation is required • Proficiency in Family Law is essential • Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Ability to handle large volumes of complex information • High ethical standards and detail-oriented integrity are a must • Demonstrated ability to maintain client confidentiality • Proven track record of courtroom success • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
