Description Litigation Associate attorney We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Litigation Associate to join our dynamic legal team. TWO OR MORE YEARS OF PERSONAL INJURY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury and workers' compensation law. This position requires excellent writing and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to conduct thorough legal research and drafting. The Litigation Associate will play a crucial role in representing clients and navigating complex legal matters. *Duties* - Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case preparation and strategy development. - Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs, ensuring clarity and adherence to legal standards. - Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients while maintaining a focus on their best interests. - Stay informed about changes in relevant laws and regulations. - Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategies and participate in client meetings to discuss case progress. - Prepare for court appearances by organizing evidence, preparing witnesses, and developing case presentations. - Assist in managing case files and documentation to ensure compliance with legal procedures. *Qualifications* - Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. - Admission to the Missouri bar. - Strong writing skills with experience in legal drafting and documentation. - Proficiency in conducting legal research using various resources. - Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients. - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple cases simultaneously. - Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
