Attorney Recruiter
Description Established California firm is seeking a Director of Attorney Recruitment for their operations. The role primarily involves managing the full recruitment cycle and conducting training sessions. The successful candidate will be a key player in our recruitment strategy, fostering strong relationships with potential candidates and ensuring our recruitment practices align with our goals. Responsibilities: • Oversee the entire recruitment process, ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring program that aligns with our needs and those of the practice groups. • Foster and maintain relationships with staffing resources to aid in the recruitment process. • Implement comprehensive attorney orientation and integration procedures to facilitate successful onboarding. • Keep abreast of market trends and share relevant insights with firm management. • Support initiatives related to inclusion, equity, and diversity within the firm. • Collaborate with the Diversity team to conduct training sessions related to cultural competencies and differences impacting inclusion, equity, and diversity. • Display leadership skills by managing and building the recruitment support team. • Provide work direction and detail-oriented development for the recruitment support team, including conducting performance evaluations and annual reviews. • Work closely with other departments to ensure a consistent experience for all candidates across various offices. • Handle hiring-related inquiries promptly and professionally, while maintaining confidentiality. Requirements • Proficiency in Full Cycle Recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding candidates. • Ability to conduct effective training sessions for new recruits and existing employees. • Significant experience in Civil Litigation, with the capability to identify and recruit talented attorneys in this field. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with candidates and hiring managers. • Strong negotiation skills to secure competitive compensation packages for candidates. • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment. • Proven track record in filling attorney positions in a timely manner. • Solid knowledge of recruitment laws, policies, and regulations. • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills. • A bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field is required. • Detail-oriented certification in human resources or recruitment is preferred.
