Audience Marketing Manager - Defense

**Position Overview:**
Hidden Level is transforming airspace safety with innovative, scalable drone detection technology. We provide real-time, actionable data to enhance security across various environments. As we expand, we're looking for an Audience Marketing Manager to lead our marketing efforts across the defense and federal channels. Candidates must have a proven track record of success in creating audience-specific marketing strategies and managing comprehensive execution. This role can be based in Syracuse, NY, or performed remotely.
**Responsibilities:**
Market Research:
+ Conduct comprehensive market research to understand industry trends, customer needs and use cases, and the competitive landscape.
+ Use insights to inform marketing strategies and business decisions.
Content Creation:
+ Develop and manage clear and differentiated product positioning and messaging that resonates with target audiences across various content forms and platforms, e.g., OV-1 development.
+ Ensure content aligns with brand messaging and marketing goals.
Demand Generation:
+ Design and implement demand generation campaigns to drive leads and conversions.
+ Monitor and optimize campaigns to maximize ROI.
ABM and Lead Management:
+ Lead Account-Based Marketing (ABM) initiatives to target high-value accounts.
+ Manage the lead generation process, ensuring alignment with sales goals.
ICP/Persona and Buyer Journey Management:
+ Define and refine Ideal Customer Profiles (ICP) and personas.
+ Map and optimize the buyer journey to enhance customer experience and drive engagement.
Partner Marketing:
+ Develop and execute partner marketing strategies to expand market reach and drive co- marketing initiatives.
+ Cultivate relationships with key partners to leverage joint marketing opportunities.
Collaborate Across Teams:
+ Work closely with the sales and product teams to ensure marketing strategies align with business goals.
+ Serve as a bridge between clients, the sales team, and the engineering team to provide clear, prioritized feedback for product development.

+ Experience working with government agencies/defense contractors.
+ Understanding of military technology, defense products, and procurement process.

Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
+ 8+ years of experience of proven experience in managing comprehensive marketing strategies for technology companies, with end-to-end ownership of multi-channel marketing execution.
+ Strong understanding of content creation and event and digital marketing.
+ Excellent communication and analytical skills.
+ Ability to travel up to 10%.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
+ Experience managing marketing efforts in a remote environment.
+ Prior experience in the defense technology sector beneficial
+ Familiarity with defense industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements (e.g., ITAR, EAR, FAR/DFARs, NIST 800-171)
+ Strong knowledge of government contract bidding process
+ Proficiency in market research and competitor analysis specific to defense markets
+ Awareness of and adherence to ethical marketing practices in defense procurement
**Compensation and Benefits:** Hidden Level offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid parental leave, flexible time off, 401(k) with employer contributions, life insurance, and disability insurance. The company also provides a remote or hybrid work environment and potential stock options.
**Salary Range:** The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $115,000 to $142,000 annually. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Hidden Level considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
