THE JOB:

Be part of the action at Dolby Live inside Park MGM, one of the most electrifying entertainment venues on the Strip! We’re looking for an Audio Technician to deliver flawless sound during world-class concerts, live performances, and special events, elevating every guest experience to new heights. Working with an expert team, you’ll ensure top-tier audio quality, smooth rehearsals, and reliable system performance in a state-of-the-art venue. THE STARTING PAY: $28.50 an hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Event Audio Support: Operate and troubleshoot audio, RF, video, communication equipment, and computer networks/systems to support live entertainment, concerts, rehearsals, and performances.

System Maintenance: Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts and equipment to ensure timely repairs and maintenance of audio systems, ensuring optimal performance during events.

Safety Compliance: Follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure a secure working environment; participate in required safety training and emergency rescue procedure courses.

Flexible Scheduling: Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate work calls, special events, rehearsals/training, maintenance, and evening show performances.

Equipment Expertise: Develop in-depth knowledge of all audio department equipment used in current events to ensure proper operation and safety.

Special Projects: Participate in special projects, including the installation and integration of new audio elements to enhance current and upcoming events.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Age: Must be at least 18 years old.

Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.

Experience: At least 3 years of professional experience as an audio technician, including work on large-scale productions.

Flexibility: Must be available for on-call shifts, with the ability to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of audio systems, including hands-on experience with show intercom systems and related technologies.
