Position is contingent upon funding.
As the Audio-Visual Fabrication Engineer, you will provide expertise across all layers of the OSI model from dedicated conference room support, scheduling, training and connectivity to operations of VTC suites and CUCM Call Managers.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
· Assist with planning, architecture, and optimization of future A/V platforms
· Manages the logistics and setup/operations of A/V related equipment used in conference rooms.
· Perform troubleshooting of the equipment in advance of and during scheduled meetings.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
· High School Diploma or Equivalent Diploma
· 2 years performing Unified Capabilities tasks
· Experience administrating UC Systems including Unified Communications Manager
CERTIFICATIONS:
DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
· VTC Suites, CODECs
· Audio/Video switchers/amplifiers/speakers
· microphones
· Unified Communications/ all Manager
· Projectors
· PTZ/Cameras
· Teleconferencing Software/Hardware (Zoom, Jabber, Teams, Polycom, etc.), VoIP / SIP / H.264 / H.265 protocols
· A/V cabling and wiring standards
· Interconnection and fabrication
