What will you do? Responsible for the overall set-up and distribution of all video and audio sources, including simulcast racing Maintain, install, and troubleshoot cameras, console equipment, broadcast television monitors, video recording devices, video switchers, digital video equipment, graphics generating equipment, distribution amplifiers, frame synchronizers, decoders, and all wiring-related issues Record and assist in internal production of any videos, live events, and subsequent editing Always maintain an accurate inventory of all equipment on the property Leads other team members in project design and completion and schedule all of Southlands simulcast and sports programming Operate a motor vehicle when necessary More about you High school diploma or equivalent required, college or technical school degree preferred Minimum of 5 years of experience in a television broadcast or distribution environment preferred Operation of satellite receiving, broadcasting, and distribution systems preferred Experience with network distribution of video and audio signal systems preferred Knowledge of computer systems and software Must be able to obtain and maintain all applicable licenses needed for the State of Arkansas Racing Commission Hold maintain a valid driver’s license, pass a motor vehicle record check and drug screen. Physical requirements Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds of equipment Must be able to see in color to troubleshoot graphics Must be able to climb ladders and work in tight spaces Shift detailsDay shift
