Government Solutions, serving government customers globally, including capabilities that cover the full lifecycle of defence, space, aviation and other government programs and missions from research and development, through systems engineering, test and evaluation, program management, to operations, maintenance, and field logistics.

Sustainable Technology Solutions (‘STS’), featuring proprietary technology, equipment, catalysts, digital solutions and related technical services for the monetization of hydrocarbons, including refining, petrochemicals, ammonia and specialty chemicals, as well as inorganics. It also incorporates the energy transition offerings including onshore and offshore oil and gas; LNG/GTL; oil refining; petrochemicals; chemicals; fertilizers; differentiated EPC; maintenance services; floating solutions; program management and consulting services.

KBR is looking for an Audio-Visual Technician based in our Huntsville, AL office.

As an Audio-Visual Technician, your responsibilities will include:

Performing basic Teams Rooms installations, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications.

Troubleshooting AV and Microsoft Teams issues promptly and efficiently.

Upgrade firmware and patches to equipment as required.

Ability to read, interpret, and communicate reflected ceiling plans, elevation drawings and room flow diagrams.

Ability to make sound decisions and escalate matters quickly and efficiently.

Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints.

Collaborating with the project team to support installations and resolve technical challenges.

Coordinate with the design team to determine AV infrastructure requirements for new conference rooms.

Qualifications and Skills:

Diploma or certification in Audio Visual Technology or related field.

Cisco CCNA would be beneficial or knowledge and understanding of IP Networking and Cisco hardware and software.

Hands-on experience with basic Teams Rooms installations.

Proven ability to troubleshoot audio-visual systems effectively.

Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, Crestron, QSC, Logitech and Jabra hardware

Ability to read, interpret, and communicate reflected ceiling plans, elevation drawings and room flow diagrams.

Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.

Adaptability to new technologies and industry trends.

Strong problem-solving skills.

Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable and well-organized.

Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Experience:

A least 3 years experience as an Audio Visual Technician, with a focus on Microsoft Teams and Crestron hardware
