We offer an outstanding opportunity to participate in service delivery that is facilitated by excellent team support, and use of the latest diagnostic technology. **What you will do:** This is a direct patient care position that provides evaluation and diagnosis of individuals with hearing impairments and/or related communications disorders in accordance with physician’s authorization. Options for training, independent work and advancement!! **Responsibilities:** + The Audiologist identifies appropriate testing methods, diagnoses condition, formulates plan of care and implements treatment program appropriate to the specific age related and functional needs of each patient. + Functions as part of a multidisciplinary team across the SPHCS. + Works within and across departments to continually assess opportunities to improve patient outcomes. + Non-sedated Auditory Brainstem Responses testing (ABRs) + Inpatient and Outpatient work is scheduled with an emphasis on outpatient care + Hearing aid dispensing for a variety of manufacturers, including the use of the latest real ear measurement equipment and coordination of care, as needed + Tinnitus assessment and treatment **Minimum Requirements:** + New York State Audiology Professional Licensure and Hearing Aid Dispensing License (or pending) + Masters or Doctorate Degree in Audiology.
