Audiologist
The Audiologist will provide diagnostic, treatment, and rehabilitative audiological services to patients of all ages. + Examines patients experiencing ear conditions. + Performs and interprets diagnostic tests, including audiometry evaluations. + Completes ear-related procedures as needed. + Calibrates equipment, prepares related reports, and maintains the audiological suite, materials, and supplies. + Collaborates with other medical professionals as needed. + Follows all medical laws, guidelines, regulations, and standards. Provides case management services and makes client referrals to other social or health service agencies. + Provides clinical regulatory and compliance guidance for AnMed Health and works with operations to integrate regulatory and compliance standards in practice. + Provides direction for audiology practice questions and scope of practice issues. Consults with physicians, practice & hospital leadership as needed. + Provides input and guidance for Medical Group Operations and Office Managers to ensure non-clinical staff practices within the parameters set forth by the Board of Medical Examiners and scope of practice as defined by AnMed Health job descriptions and policies. + Completes reports and daily progress notes on a timely basis as defined by policy. + Develop and coordinate ongoing quality improvement efforts. + Organize and spearhead initiatives to measure and improve key clinical processes. + Function as clinical liaison between practices and hospital departments. + Performs other tasks as required by Physicians, Management, or Medical Group Leadership. EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS: Post Graduate degree in Audiology in speech-language pathology or audiology is required. Active audiology license in South Carolina is required. Certified or certification eligible by the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association.
