Position Summary
Responsible for rendering professional audiology care and services within the medical practice in support of the physicians. Examines, tests, diagnoses and administers remedial treatments for patients with hearing disorders.
Minimum Qualifications
Work Experience
Previous Audiology experience preferred.
Education Master’s degree in Audiology required.
Certifications/Licensure Licensed as an Audiologist in the Commonwealth of Kentucky required. Performs diagnostic audiogram and tympanometry on complex patients with mixed hearing loss. Performs auditory brainstem response testing for accurate diagnosis of pediatric hearing loss. Performs otoacoustic emission testing on pediatric patients. Maintains knowledge and ability to consult on candidacy criteria for implantable hearing aid technology (cochlear implants and bone conduction systems).
