Responsibilities

The Listen For Life Center at Virginia Mason is seeking an experienced, skilled and compassionate Cochlear Implant Audiologist to join our team. As a Cochlear Implant Audiologist, you will provide cochlear implantation services, including hearing aid dispensing as it relates to cochlear implantation as well as diagnostic audiological services. This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference in the lives of individuals experiencing hearing loss and improve their quality of life.

Duties:

Cochlear implant servicesComprehensive Audiologic evaluationsAudiologic consultation and educationFit and dispense hearing aidsProvide counseling and education to patients and their families regarding hearing loss, communication strategies, and device usePerform hearing aid adjustments, repairs, and maintenanceStay up-to-date with advancements in audiology research and technology

Qualifications

We Require

Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited programCurrent state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an AudiologistExcellent communication skills with the ability to provide exceptional patient serviceProficiency in conducting patient assessments and interpreting test results
