$48.140 - $62.110 - $76.080
The stated pay scale reflects the range that Sharp reasonably expects to pay for this position.  The actual pay rate and pay grade for this position will be dependent on a variety of factors, including an applicant’s years of experience, unique skills and abilities, education, alignment with similar internal candidates, marketplace factors, other requirements for the position, and employer business practices.
**What You Will Do**
To provide evaluation and treatment of audiological disorders to Sharp Rees-Stealy patients upon appropriate medical/professional referral, predominantly in an ambulatory setting, as part of a coordinated health care team. California Audiology Dispensing License is strongly preferred.

**Essential Functions**
+ ConsultationConsults with physicians, providers, and audiology peers regarding patient evaluations and care when indicated. Informal interactions are verbal or short (less than twenty minutes) time consultations. Formal interactions are documented consultations with at least twenty minutes of patient evaluation. As measured by direct supervisor observation or written documentation by the involved audiologists.Meets: Four informal interactions per month and participates in one co-evaluation or treatment or formal interaction.Meets/exceeds: Five to six informal interactions per month and participates in two co-evaluations or treatments or formal interactions per month.Consistently exceeds: Above six informal interactions per month and three or more co-evaluations or treatments or formal interactions per month.

+ Knowledge of Audiology evaluation and treatment methods; able to work effectively in a work mentoring program (CFY/RPE).
+ Ability to speak intelligible English, ability to hear low intensity sound and discriminate subtle changes and distortions in speech sounds.
+ Ability to see adequately to discern important environmental events and safety hazards, and to appreciate oral-facial characteristics as related to speech production and auditory reception.
+ Ability to work, demonstrating awareness of safety practices for self, patients, staff and others.
+ Ability to perform CPR.
+ Intermediate through advanced position.
