The Nampa ENT, Hearing and Balance Clinic is now hiring for an experienced Audiologist to join their team!
Position Summary & Highlights:This Audiologist position will be a new role in a new office setting to the Nampa ENT clinic to support a physician and PA.
The Audiologist role performs professional, comprehensive diagnostic, treatment, rehabilitation and counseling services in the areas of hearing disorders and aural rehabilitation.
The services performed by the Audiologist are designed to identify hearing impairment in individuals, birth through adulthood; and to provide direct or supportive treatment and educational information in order to maximize communication competencies.
The clinic offers a wide range of services to patients of all ages, from sore throats and allergies to sinus problems and ear infections, we are here to care for our patients.
We have a comprehensive team of medical providers (doctors, audiologist, therapists, etc.) who recognize the need for patients to receive timely diagnosis, testing, and treatment.
What You Will Do:Provide comprehensive diagnostic hearing evaluations for hearing impaired individuals and generate accurate records and reports to provide an efficient, effective, quality service to clients/families, hospital departments and external customers.
Develop and implement individual rehabilitative treatment plans and communication strategies in conjunction with client and family goals and provide education and information regarding additional services available through the department, hospital or community to further assist the client in the hearing rehabilitation process.
Recommend, counsel, fit and dispense hearing aids and/or assistive listening devices dependent on the communication needs of each client in order to maximize his or her hearing communication potential.
Manage hearing aid maintenance and repairs to provide ongoing continuous care and long term follow-up hearing health care and rehabilitation services to clients and families.
Demonstrate clinical competency and professional commitment by adherence to established standards of practice, utilize appropriate clinical principles and participate in continuing education to ensure high quality client treatment.
Maintain appropriate professional communication with staff, physicians, referrers, clients and/or family members and participate in program development, data collection, and analysis of department Program Evaluation and Quality Improvement monitors to facilitate problem solving, program planning, education, and goal attainment.
Support the policy and practice needed for flexibility in providing adequate service to all areas of assignment and assume additional related job responsibilities when warranted to maintain a high quality hearing healthcare service for the benefit of the community.
Work Schedule:The position will work 40 hours per week, Mondays - Fridays around the hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm.

Minimum Qualifications:Knowledge of Audiology normally acquired by completing a master’s or doctorate degree in Audiology. Idaho State Licensure in Audiology is required or certification of clinical competence in Audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association is required.
Experience is in accordance with education and knowledge required for certification and licensure.
Essential Skills
Interpersonal skills are necessary to maintain excellent communication between staff, clients and referrers.
High proficiency in the use of a wide range of tools, equipment and testing materials including technical hearing aid software programs.
