Job Description

Assists in the speech and audiology testing of patients. Performs screenings on newborns, under supervision and maintains documentation of all patients in database.

Job Responsibility

 

 

Performs inpatient and outpatient newborn hearing screening under supervision of audiologist. Assists audiologists with pediatric hearing tests. Documents encounters in patient database; download and print test results from computerized audio logical and speech pathology test equipment. Provides clerical support, as needed. Performs related duties as required. All responsibilities noted here are considered essential functions of the job under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Job Qualification

 

High School Diploma or equivalent required. 0-1 years of relevant experience, required. Interest in speech pathology or audiology.
